The R3 and R5 are very good cameras for still photography, albeit pricey. They utilise the RF mount, for Canon's highest quality and most modern still photography lenses. The R5 has a higher resolution sensor. The R3 has a built-in battery grip, and high end professional features, including eye autofocus.

The C70 is currently Canon's only RF mount Netflix approved camera. It is suitable for video production. It does not have a built-in viewfinder.

The R5 C is a modified version of the R5, optimised for video use. It has a fixed image sensor and cooling technology to allow for longer video running times, but lacks image stabilisation on the sensor.

Alternatives From Other Manufacturers

The Nikon Z9, at £5299.00, is a great camera for stills and video with a built-in battery grip. However, for video work, it is not currently Netflix approved.

The Nikon D850, £2699.00 at Jessops and £2799.00 elsewhere, is a great DSLR.
