Prime Video is included with an Amazon Prime subscription. Notable competitors to Amazon Prime include Netflix, Disney+ and Apple services including Apple TV and iTunes.

Netflix has been very popular, but has recently had some setbacks that have been attributed to controversial and 'woke' content, as well as the return to work after COVID-19.

Disney+ has got some traction from the Star Wars franchise. The first two seasons of the live-action series 'The Mandalorian' were good. In a similar vein, Disney has released the series 'The Book of Boba Fett'. The series 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' is currently streaming. Further series of 'The Mandalorian' and other series are in production and development.

For those with Apple devices, users can get movies and tv from Apple to watch on their devices.

For the budget conscious, there are ways to watch content without having to pay a subscription. Freeview allows television to be viewed for free, from a compatible TV, the Freeview Mobile App, or the Freeview website. Freesat allows free television to be viewed using a compatible satellite dish and Freesat box.

For the computer generation who are eschewing traditional tv and cinema, there is YouTube.

Finally, for viewing live streams, there is Twitch, which specialises in gaming and other niche programming from content creators.
